  • Labor Warranty



    Bought Blue Ray Player BD570 in May, 2010 from Best Buy. Called LG about intermittent sound quality problems in July, 2010. Troubleshooting seemed to fix problem. Called again in October. This January, I finally said "No more" to trouble shooting and made them take player in for servicing. Now LG won't do anything without $69.00 labor fee.     I bought an LG Washer WM0642. In 10 months, I have had the main board, pressure switch and drain pump replaced. The tub clean function does not advance after 14 minutes (this was the function that made my decision to buy this machine based on fears of mildew problems related to front load washers). I have had no success with customer service.     My name is Mike Larson and two years ago I bought a full set of LG kitchen Applinances because my wife and mother loved them and said it would be a upgrade over my favorite, Fridgadere. I have had problems with my stove with the left half of the keyboard only working half the time and dishwasher now is not working at all.   • Very poor customer service



    I purchased a top of the line LG washer model WM0642H and it broke down after 5 months of use. I've called customer service 7 times now. Each time, I was promised that someone would get back to me. I have not gotten a single call back. I am now 3 weekends without a washer going on my 4th. I suggest a professional customer service that delivers instead of making false statements. I am told now to call back tomorrow between 8AM and 5PM Central time to speak to the exchange department.     Washer has not worked for three weeks, can get no answers from customer service, service provider cannot tell me anything b/c parts provider will not answer or return phone calls that they have placed. I have made numerous efforts to get answers and the standard response is "We can't tell you anything because your service technician is unavailable."     This is regarding the LG Product Plasma TV (FLAT ) which was purchased just a year back . Just after completion on one year the problem started with the TV and now it is totally dead. Lodged a complaint and was being told that one of the part needs to be replaced. LG support executive confirmed that PCB needs to be replaced which will be costing around 6000 Rs.
