If you are thinking about buying the LG Optimus V cell phone....STOP. I spent $200 at Bestbuy on this junk. Less than 3 months later, it is so defective that it is unusable. After 4 weeks, numberous calls, emails, faxes, letters, and chats, guess what....I still have the unusable cell phone and their 1 year warranty apparently is just something they print but will NOT honor!!! Now I am stuck with a $200 paperweight compliments of LG. BEWARE.

I agree completely with your descriptive and detailed account of LG's warranty. I too have been a owner of an lg optimus (f7)--within 2 months the display just quit all. I knew that this was a defect, Boost my carrier said that I had to go to LG. LG had me send them the package and it was a pain''and I had to pay for it. according to their paperwork they had it in about 5 minutes and declared that I had a bent board and it was unrepairable and not honor the warranty.I called them and spoke to their head guy or manager and I said to him so you're basically saying I have a disposable phone I spent $400 and have a disposable phone and he said yes. This angered me of course. so I found a reputable and certified, technician and he..did have some trouble but he clearly showed me the board was good and that everything that they had marked on that board was incorrect and wrong and was a lie. So he had to get the part that I needed because the my part was defective. He attempted to get from LG who refused to help him. So this guy went out and bought used phones of my brand and finally was able to fix it and did not charge me and he is trying to help me sue this company..
